- Glasgow -Blatchford Score : The Glasgow – Blatchford Score is used to predict the need for EGD in patients with evidence of upper GI bleeding. The score has been validated to show that patients with a score of 0 are low risk.
- Rockall Score : The Rockall scoring system was devised to predict mortality with non-variceal upper GI bleeding.
