About

GIHep was started in 2009 out of the frustration with lack of access for clinically relevant calculators on the Internet for Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Given this lack of content Dr. Timothy Imler decided to take matters into his own hands and create a resource, GIHep.

For the past 5+ years GIHep has served the gastroenterology and hepatology community while adding additional resources and will continue to innovate ways to make clinical care for gastroenterologists and hepatologists easier.

Impact

We have continued to expand in our influence touching each continent and more than 100 countries worldwide. We are used extensively within the academic community and have been mentioned at national conferences such as AASLD, DDW, and in publications.
