TREATING YOUR INDIVIDUAL PATIENTS.
WITH TARGETED SOLUTIONS.
OUR ORIGIN STORY
GIHep was started in 2009 by Dr. Timothy Imler out of the frustration with lack of access for clinically relevant calculators on the Internet for Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
Now over 10 years later we are still going strong with your support. Currently we are updating our 50+ legacy calculators to current standards.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY
Today we are a leading site for the delivery of complex and nuanced calculations and continue to expand. We are improving the technology behind what we do in order to make it easier to deliver the right information, at the right time, to the right person. We are also adding calculators that are highly specific to our subspecialty, often developing these in conjunction with the authors to have them deployed at the time of publication.
OUR INFLUENCE
GIHep is used extensively within the academic community and has been mentioned at international conferences such as AASLD, Digestive Disease Week (DDW), American Pathologists Annual Meeting and in multiple publications.
